Mission.Earth’s philosophy can be boiled down to “enable your work and get out of your way.”
To that end, our services shrink and grow according to the needs of our fiscally-sponsored projects.
Sponsored projects can expect Mission.Earth to:
- Hold and steward funds you collect on behalf of your fiscally-sponsored project
- Account for your funds using Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)
- Receive donations on behalf of your fiscally-sponsored project
- Make payments on behalf of your fiscally-sponsored project
- Employ and pay your staff
- Report your financial positions on a regular basis
- File all required reporting to federal and state regulators
- Work with your project on your unique needs and administrative burdens to maximize time spent on your mission.
How much does it cost?
Mission.Earth has no recurring fee or fundraising minimum. All of our fiscally-sponsored projects contribute to the shared cost of administering the 501(c)(3) designation we all enjoy.
Costshare rates are based on funds raised in a calendar year, per the following schedule:

*Payroll services add $32/month for the first employee and $8/month for each additional employee. The project shall be required to maintain a fund account minimum balance equal to three months of payroll and all payroll costs.
